Student and Course Data that includes data that is required to provide you with certification, this includes your Name, Date of Birth (for regulated qualifications only) and information about qualifications you are taking or have taken. We process this data to provide you with qualifications, certifications and to Quality Assure our courses. Our lawful ground of processing is legitimate interest to enable us to provide you with certifications for training that meets the recommendations and regulations for training.

Centre/ Instructor Data this includes data provided by approved centres and instructors for the purpose of certification and internal quality assurance.

This may include their students Name, Address, Email and Date of Birth. The data is required for producing the certification the lawful basis for processing the data would be legitimate interest.

Sensitive Data

We need to collect the following sensitive data about you in order to ensure that we can adapt our classroom training to allow us to make reasonable adjustments to ensure your safety during practical exercises required as part of some of the training courses.

We require your explicit consent for processing sensitive data, by declaring to your instructor that a reasonable adjustment is required for you to complete the training, you will need to complete and sign an additional document. Asking you to confirm your consent to this processing.

If you don’t provide us with the requested data, we may have to cancel a product or service you have ordered but if we do, we will notify you at the time.

They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they must keep it confidential.

We have procedures in place to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach if we are legally required to.

We will only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

For qualifications we are required to keep basic information about our customers (including Contact, Identity, Qualification information and Qualification dates) for seven years to be able to provide proof of qualification, CPD statements and other information at their request.

Whenever you are asked to fill in a form on the website, look for the box that you can click to indicate that you do not want the information to be used by anybody for direct marketing purposes

PAYMENT TERMS

Please note cancellation charges apply. Upon booking, 50% of the course fee is immediately non-refundable. Bookings which are cancelled less than 2 weeks prior to the course are 100% non refundable. Cancellation fees are applied as it is not often possible to re-book cancelled places at less than 1 months notice.

Cancellation charges will be withdrawn if the applicant re-books on the next available date – providing we are able to find a another delegate to backfill the space. Cancellation of any course by the company itself will mean full repayment of fees to the candidate. We reserve the right to amend or cancel any training date or location. Should this be necessary our staff will contact delegates immediately and arrange an alternative date.

Payment is required at the time of booking.

A Certificate of completion of the course will be issued upon completion.

Food will be provided by the company, please make us aware of any special dietary needs a week prior to the course so we can fulfill your requirements.

Privacy Policy – We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties.

Course aftercare and support is offered to all delegates and guidance to help find employment will also be offered through our affiliations with aesthetic recruitment agencies. We do not however guarantee employment for all delegates as we are predominantly a training provider and not a recruitment company.

The Aesthetic industry is currently unregulated within the UK. Like many authorised training providers, our curriculum has been assessed and approved by cosmetic indemnity providers who provide recognition & authorisation of indemnity. With this status being held, we can not be held responsible if:

  • There are further requirements for future qualification which are not met by BBAIM Academy
